Mwahahaha! [evil laugh]. I found the audio file to the original version of Hyesung's Tsunami. As miriya told me, it was sung by the Japanese pop rock band, Southern All Stars. Thanks again, miriya!
I was busily searching the net this morning, to be able to name my Top 100 Guys, when I accidentally discovered that one of my favorite Japanese actors, Takuya Kimura, of the Jdorama Pride, is actually a member of the Japanese idol group, SMAP, with which our Eric worked before to rap for their album, Pop Up! SMAP. Do you remember that news article where Eric was said to have worked with a popular group in Japan? That happened a long time ago and I never knew about Takuya Kimura's association with the said group until now. Of course, after knowing this, I searched for the audio file right away. Oh, what a day it has been!
If you've heard these songs already, please listen to them again. You may have forgotten already. And if you still haven't, all the more that you should hear them. He-he. I just liked these songs so much that I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy them, too. Oh, I hope you actually will.
A plastic surgeon has published a composite image of the ideal male Korean face. Rhee Seung-chul, the head of plastic surgery at Hanil General Hospital, made the image from the faces of 16 Korean Wave stars. Rhee had earlier done the same thing for women by making a composite image of 19 female stars.
The ideal Korean male consists of bits and pieces from Kang Dong-won, Kwon Sang-woo, Kim Rae-won, Mun Jeong-hyeok, Bae Yong-joon, Jung Ji-hoon, Song Il-gook, Won Bin, Lee Wan, Jang Dong-gun, Jae Hee, Cho In-sung, Jo Hyun-jae, Ji Seong, Ji Jin-hee, and Hyun Bin. All of them [are] popular not only in Korea but in China and Japan as well. He analyzed their faces with a computer program called BAPA, for “balanced angular and proportional analysis.” The result is a slim face with chiseled cheekbones and a clear chin, big eyes, a long nose and long, thin upper lip.
"According to the beauty theory that says the average of all the most preferred faces is the most beautiful, I made the new-generation handsome face by using the faces of stars that young Internet users like most,” Rhee said.

I wonder which part of this face is Eric's. I can't seem to figure it out. He-he.I'm not sure if I like the nose. I haven't decided yet.
What will you do if you spot this guy on the street?
veggieg and Jinnie started it. Now, it's my turn to post my TMT (the magnificent trio, consisting of Junjin, Eric and Hyesung) collection. Will add more to it as I find new ones. We need your help, too; for we don't just do this for fun, it's an addiction; and there's no known cure to it yet. Not that we want to be treated. Ha-ha! That said, I hope you'd share with us whatever TMT photos you may already have. Thanks and enjoy the pictures.
Even for just today. It isn't too much to ask, is it? Ha-ha! Anyway, I'm writing this post in response to Jinnie and veggieg's request that I upload the file to Hyesung's rendition of Stevie Wonder's Lately. As I mentioned in my post, where I first shared with you this song's streaming audio, Lately was sung by Hyesung during Shinhwa's second concert; and made part of the said concert's album, which was released four years ago. Disc 1 of the said album, which they titled The Everlasting Mythology (Shinhwa 2nd Concert), had the following tracks to it.
- Intro
- Perfect Man
- Free
- Opening Ment
- Wild Eyes
- Lately
- 천일유혼
- Yo! (악동보고서)
- Jam#1
- Ment
- 으쌰 으쌰
All, of course, were as they performed them during the second concert.
Instead of just posting the link to the mp3 file of Hyesung's Lately, I'm adding a few other songs, too. [Sharing just one song won't qualify me as a DJ. Ha-ha!]
그 아픔까지 사랑한거야 (I Painfully Loved Her). Junjin's solo in, and seventh track to, Shinhwa's Winter Story 2004~05 album. I just found out that veggieg hasn't listened to it, so here it is. To download, click here.
I just learned how to convert wma files to mp3, so as a continuation to my Vox Hunt: It's [Not Really] Hidden post, where I mentioned 세월의 흔적 다 버리구 (Throwing Away Traces of Time) as my favorite song [It's also where I got the lines embedded on my blog header.], I'm posting here the song's two versions. One by Shinhwa and the other by Eric and Lyn. These two were also from Shinhwa's Winter Story 2004~05 album.
To download Shinhwa's version, click here. For Eric and Lyn's duet, click here.
This has been your DJ, Ciré, and I hope that you had a fantastic day with me. Don't forget to tune in next time to... [What name am I going to give my station?]
This was fun. Ha-ha! I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I did writing it. *winks*
Found some great treats at Shinhwa Sarang yesterday and, since I still have no new workloads today, except for writing a long overdue correspondence, am sharing them all here. I hope you'll enjoy them as much, if not more, than I did.
Basso's 2007 Catalogue. A magnificent collection of Eric's pictures!!! 34 in all. His best photos yet, I believe. I even used one as my blog's header. Look up!
And wallpapers too!
I also grabbed some wallpapers of Junjin's which featured his Special Edition "Forever" album. He's just so handsome in them that I made one my current desktop wallpaper (the one in the middle below). Who would believe I'd change my Eric wallpaper? I can't either. Ha-ha! I like Eric very much, sure enough, but there are times, like now, that I'm so into other Shinhwa members as well. They are all so likable, aren't they?
What do you think about all these? Quite many but still not enough, right? Shinhwa's addictive. Well, at least for me.
Audio: What's your favorite
hidden track orsong from an album?
Submitted by Kristine.
I tweaked today's Vox Hunt a little bit so that I can share my favorite song with everyone.
It would be Shinhwa's 13th track to their Winter Story 2004~05 album, 세월의 흔적 다 버리구, roughly translated as Throwing Away Traces of Time. I've become very fond of this song, simply because it was sung by Eric. Well, it was actually a duet with Lyn. Now I'm wondering. Is this the only song where Eric actually sang?
The audio file I have here is not supported by Vox so I just uploaded it here. Happy listening! Oops. The file is protected, so if you want to listen to it, you're going to have to ask me for the password first. Sorry.

Up-and-coming star, Jung Yoo Mi, has replaced Yoon Eun Hye as the main actress for the MBC drama, Que Sera Sera.
Jung Yoo Mi, who gained a lot of attention after receiving the Best Supporting Actress [award] at the Blue Dragon Movie Awards and Best Newcomer at the Baeksang Art/Film Awards in the past year, will debut in the small screen as the main female lead for Que Sera Sera.
Yoon Eun Hye recently revealed that she would drop the drama because of her poor health. Que Sera Sera, however, is already gaining a lot of popularity due to its two main male leads, Shinhwa member Eric and Mapado 2 actor, Lee Gyu Hwan.
In the drama, Jung Yoo Mi will play Han Eun Soo, who is a clumsy, yet positive shopping mall employee. She gets involved in a love triangle with Kang Tae Joo [Eric], who is a penniless player that can get anything with his good looks, and Shin Joon Hyun [Lee Gyu Hwan], who is suffering from his painful past.
Que Sera Sera is also gaining a lot of attention because of Kim Yoon Chul, who produced the 2005 hit My Name is Kim Sam Soon.
The drama will start airing on March 17th, after White Tower.
Jung Yoo Mi's Profile:
Born: January 18, 1983 (four years younger than Eric)
Height: 168cm
Management company: SIDUS HQ

It's Eric's 29th birthday! Oh well, this post is late, it was actually yesterday. I dug some old photos for this occasion. What do you say? Would you have recognized him without the introduction?
